Hello I’m Belinda from Colour Transformations – transforming the places we work, live and play. I create interior and exterior colour and design concepts, for residential and commercial building developments.
I've played with colour all my life. Firstly, with fashion, entering one of the first ever coloured (pink) bridal gowns in the RAQ fashion design awards in Queensland.
Then, I found I loved working with buildings, painted finishes, furniture, fabrics, flooring and love that even more.
I believe it is important when renovating to honour the style and age of the building, but also to honour the people living or working in it too. This can sometimes be a bit tricky but, that's part of the fun, finding a harmony that works with all the aspects of combining people and their spaces.
When it’s a new building - I go for it - presently in commercial developments - colour is key - and the louder the better!
