We are hosting a 2 hour mini seminar as an introduction to Visual Profiling and what it can do for you, in business, relationships, and life generally.
A Profiler uses Visual Cues to understand how to communicate and build rapport with everyone they meet. The Art of Profiling- INstant INsight is the modern day verson of How to Win Friends and Influence others - immediately!
Profiling is a whole new concept and this event will be like nothing you've ever experienced before!
Presenter, Marly Tosh, has spent over 30years researching how people think, feel, act and react to each other with some amazing results.
There is a discernable biological link that explains it all, called our NATURAL IMPRINT.
Come along and find out.
We warn you though - it is potentially life changing...
Imagine what instant insight into others would do for you?

We are often disappointed with others, because we place expectations upon them, often and sadly they don't even know we've done this!
Expectations
I expect you to be the best you, that you can possibly be…
I expect you to love and cherish yourself…
I expect you to take care of your health, wealth and happiness…
I expect you to work through life’s difficulties as they arise, then let them go…
I expect you to unconditionally love yourself…
I expect you to take responsibility for your thoughts, feelings and actions…
I expect you to take some quiet time each day – just for you…
I expect you to keep in touch with the people that you care about…
I expect you to do the things that make your heart sing, regularly...
I expect all of these things for me too…

Being Right -v- Being Happy
Would you rather be right or would you rather be happy? It seems that it is impossible to be both.
Have you ever worked with someone on a project, and really thought you had connected with the other person - only to find out you were on completely different pages? How absolutely frustrating is that.
Have you ever thought about why that happens?
I sometimes think these roadblocks are put in our way to allow us time to pause and take stock of what we are doing and why. What is motivating us to do this particular thing.
What is this difference about? Is one of you wrong and the other right. Is one of you right and the other left to feel stupid.
Or are you doing something that is taking you away from your path or innate nature? Often when we take on a project, we do it because mmm... that's what we are supposed to do.
How many of us prequalify what we are doing, with whom and why? Why is this important and how exactly do we do that?
If we really understood people, what motivated them, how they tick, whether they are INTEPRETERS, COMPARE things, EVALUATE things and situations, or DECIDE things quickly, would that make your interractions with the people you meet different.
If we knew whether people were interested in Climbing the Corporate Ladder, Recognition for a Job Well Done, Respect from peers or Rewards for making targets, would that make a difference with how you speak with them.
These are all Visual Profiling Techniques.
How do you think it would affect your outcomes if you knew these Visual Profiling techniques.
Visual Profiling is a science that is practiced as an Art. I am loving this work AND the good news is that we will be ready to share it with you in the next month or two, in much more detail.
My guarantee to you is this - it will change the way we do business. Not just me and you, but all of us, everywhere.
Imagine a Sales Team with a 50%+ conversion rate. Unheard of - not using Visual Profiling. Its most definitely possible.
Imagine looking for a candidate for a specific job, Visual Profiling will ensure you have the right person in the right job and they'll love it, be productive, get the job done and you'll end up with an amazingly happy work place. How good is that?
Until next time, be happy, get excited. The world is about to change...

Exercise and Creative Thinking
Have you ever been amazed by the quantity and quality of your creative thoughts after you've been for a walk, a swim, or played in the garden for a while?
I am no longer surprised by this phenomena, and frequently these days work with it.
Before I embark on a new project, before I sit in my office for the day, before I meet with my teachers (of which there are many and for whom I am truly grateful) I always spend a while in nature.
I'll kick my shoes off and wander around my small garden checking out my tomatoes, or the herb garden, I'll wander around the side of our house where nothing seems to grow (except weeds), and wonder how we can turn it into a putting green, perhaps even pull a few of those ever present weeds.
I'll take a walk around the streets and find myself wandering along the river, chatting with the birds, lizards, rocks and be grateful that they are all present for me to admire, to allow my mind to escape the daily noise and chatter of business, traffic, television, telephones and whatever other distractions there are.
Swimming is one of my favourites, either in the surf, working with mother nature, sometimes struggling with her to stay afloat, other times bobbing up and down with the swell. Even in the pool where swimming mindless lengths allow time to think and ponder, plan and strategise. I find if I am looking for answers the surf is the way to go, if I am looking to make a plan the pool works a treat.
Whatever I seem to do, once I've connected with nature and return to the task at hand, things flow, words come easily, phone calls are answered, conversations are productive, visions are more specific - what exactly does this project require, is it colour, smooth or square lines, softness, coolness, warmth.
Nature brings a balance to my life that when working in my home office, sometimes I forget. It seems to me that Nature = Flow.
Working as I do with all sorts of people, from different socio-economic backgrounds, different age groups, different dreams, hopes and desires, it is impossible to treat everyone the same. It is impossible to ask everyone the same questions.
When I work with nature, I learn what is appropriate for each client, what questions to ask and sometimes even what the answers may be.
When I'm really switched on to Visual Profiling I will know just by looking at people, what drives them, what inspires them, what they look for in a fulfilling career, and what colours, furniture, bedding and structure they would like to live with.
To learn all these things, I step out in nature like I am today, go for a walk at the seaside, then go to class. What a blessing, and how grateful and inspired am I that I live so close to all the places I love.
Till next time, keep moving, and keep smiling

Imagine this - What would your world be like if you knew how to communicate effectively with everyone you met.
Imagine that, you are about to meet someone with whom you'd love to do business, business that would not only benefit you, but the other person too, and even some of their clients.
WIN WIN WIN!
How important would that first impression be?
What if, by looking at that person you knew exactly what motivated them, inspired them, what made them think, feel and act the way they do.
Do you think that would be useful?
WOW - This is what a Visual Profiler does.
It works for everyone, everywhere, every time and in every situation. How would you use it?
I am currently learning this skill and it has actually changed the way I look at colour, people, relationships, business and nature. Visual Profiling is allowing me to understand not only myself but others in a far more constructive way, than I have allowed myself in the past. Once we acquire this ability, we dont forget it because it is innate in all of us, it is our Natural Blueprint.
I am soaking up every scrap of information I can AND when I learn some more, will be sharing it with you.
Blessings to you
Belinda
p.s. have a great day :)

The View from My Office
Well here I am in downtown (read 'burbs) Brisbane, and it is wet, wet, wet!
I look out my office (spare room) window and I see the retaining wall and fence separating us from our neighbours, we live on a relatively small block, so our fence is not that far from the house maybe 1.8 - 2m max.
Lets face it, we all know what a treated sleeper wall and treated fence palings look like when they are left to weather. Yep, greeny, grey lines, horizontal and vertical with a sliver of sky above before my eye then crashes into our eaves. Extraordinarily uninspiring, especially on a rainy day!
So, with a thought that came in from out of the blue, I think I will paint a mural on the wall, or at least line it with pots and hanging baskets, I could make it look like the hanging gardens of Babylon. That could look pretty cool. Will post a before and after pic. Can't do anything now till the weather clears anyway. But it's a good plan.

Kallangur Memorial Bowls Club Inc.
I love this networking thing... we meet people one week then the next week they pass your name on to someone who needs what you do. You gotta love that! It clearly defines relationship building as the key to business.
This is what happened to me, and then I met Phil at Kallangur Bowls. The Bowls Club sits right next door to Norths Leagues & Services Club on Anzac Avenue at Kallangur, in fact they often share a carpark. Sadly, looked upon as the poor cousin as people flock to Norths, the neglected club (cosmetically only {the members are awesome}) is very overdue for a facelift.
That's were I step in. The brief has been something like this:-
We need a cheap and cheerful makeover of the club that will get us by whilst we rebuild the Club finances, apply for Grants and hopefully acquire some donations along the way.
My initial thoughts were, Ok! lets paint the walls, the Aqua, Turquoise, BlueGreen has to go! (see photo page in blog) Let's render or plaster over the internal brick walls, demolish the temporary store room (that has been there for over 15 years), repair the dance floor, and recarpet the dining room. Oh, and we must do something with the lighting...
For now, the walls will be the first thing to change. The rest may take time, but there is a plan :-)
Carpet has been selected for the dining room and bar/gaming area, tiles for the hall, bathrooms and bar, laminates and stone for the benchtops and divider walls. Space has been created for a 'walk-of-fame' for the trophy boards. Creative solutions for storage including taking a pile of rubbish to the tip! temporary dressing rooms for performers, and moving the lockers to the 'old' club house have all enabled works to progress.
