Would you rather be right or would you rather be happy? It seems that it is impossible to be both.
Have you ever worked with someone on a project, and really thought you had connected with the other person - only to find out you were on completely different pages? How absolutely frustrating is that.
Have you ever thought about why that happens?
I sometimes think these roadblocks are put in our way to allow us time to pause and take stock of what we are doing and why. What is motivating us to do this particular thing.
What is this difference about? Is one of you wrong and the other right. Is one of you right and the other left to feel stupid.
Or are you doing something that is taking you away from your path or innate nature? Often when we take on a project, we do it because mmm... that's what we are supposed to do.
How many of us prequalify what we are doing, with whom and why? Why is this important and how exactly do we do that?
If we really understood people, what motivated them, how they tick, whether they are INTEPRETERS, COMPARE things, EVALUATE things and situations, or DECIDE things quickly, would that make your interractions with the people you meet different.
If we knew whether people were interested in Climbing the Corporate Ladder, Recognition for a Job Well Done, Respect from peers or Rewards for making targets, would that make a difference with how you speak with them.
These are all Visual Profiling Techniques.
How do you think it would affect your outcomes if you knew these Visual Profiling techniques.
Visual Profiling is a science that is practiced as an Art. I am loving this work AND the good news is that we will be ready to share it with you in the next month or two, in much more detail.
My guarantee to you is this - it will change the way we do business. Not just me and you, but all of us, everywhere.
Imagine a Sales Team with a 50%+ conversion rate. Unheard of - not using Visual Profiling. Its most definitely possible.
Imagine looking for a candidate for a specific job, Visual Profiling will ensure you have the right person in the right job and they'll love it, be productive, get the job done and you'll end up with an amazingly happy work place. How good is that?
Until next time, be happy, get excited. The world is about to change...

Fascinating article Belinda. We were having a similar discussion at an extended family dinner recently. We all agreed the greatest skill was to be able to truly understand people. Look forward to reading more as you progress with your learning:)
ReplyDeleteHow easy will it be Julie-Ann when we will know what to say just by looking at someone. That's how easy AND important Visual Profiling is. No one will ever be offended, and there will be no need to judge people for who they are or what they say. We are what we are, we are who we are. Thanks for checking in. I appreciate that.
